Jacqueline Martinez Regueira

Ms. Martinez Regueira is of counsel to Fernandez Legal Group, P.A.  Ms. Martinez Regueira handles all aspects of chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy cases, including representation of debtors, creditors, and bankruptcy trustees.  She has particular experience in bankruptcy cases involving Ponzi schemes, offshore schemes, fraud, fraudulent transfers, misappropriations and exemption planning.  Ms. Martinez Regueira’s legal experience also includes matters involving real estate, contracts administration, corporate asset purchases and sales, pharmaceutical benefits management, and administration of employee pension and welfare benefits.

Ms. Martinez Regueira graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Management in 1996 from Barry University, Andreas School of Business.  She received her Juris Doctor degree cum laude from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, in May 1999, ranking in the Top 15 % of Class.  In law school, Ms. Martinez Regueira served as an Articles Editor of the Nova Southeastern Law Review, Journal of International & Comparative Law, Bilingual Edition, and was awarded Top Honors in Contracts.

Ms. Martinez Regueira is a member of the Florida Bar and of the Bar of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.  Ms. Martinez Regueira also serves a Code Enforcement Board Member for the City of Miami Springs, Florida.  Ms. Martinez Regueira is fluent in Spanish.
